The Revd Sarah Farrow is the Lutheran Chaplain at King's. She is usually at King's on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, during term time.
Sarah was ordained in 2016 into the Lutheran Church in Great Britain and is an Assistant Minister at St Anne's Lutheran Church. She is based at the International Lutheran Student Centre where she is student chaplain to its 80 residents from around the world, of all faiths and philosophies. Sarah trained for Ordained Ministry with the South East Institute for Theological Education and completed her MA in Theology with St Augustine's focusing on traditions borne out of the Lutheran Reformation and how they might contribute to a theology of children's participation in worship. Prior to this, Sarah received her MSc in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and her BA in Political Science from Boston University, during which time she studied abroad on BU programs in London, Oxford and Sydney. Prior to ordination, Sarah worked for over 12 years with the Boston University Study Abroad London Programs managing their academic programmes and advising students on academic matters.
Sarah is married and has a young daughter. They all enjoy hiking, music, books, books, and more books! Sarah is originally from New York and New Jersey but has lived in London for over 15 years. She is very familiar of the challenges and changes that students and staff face when studying and working abroad. Sarah is here to listen and be present for any student or staff member looking to talk.
