***As things stand, the Chaplaincy is working remotely, but is available via email. Chaplaincies, Chapels and Prayer Rooms are closed and all on-site services and events are suspended until further notice - however, the Chaplaincy is still active and you can find out more about what the Chaplaincy is doing during lockdown here. You can find information relating to Ramadan and Shavuot here. Please note the current advice from King's re Coronavirus***
The Chaplains based at the Strand are Tim Ditchfield, Alexander Fostiropoulos, Jarel Robinson-Brown, James Johnson and Simon Woodman. We also have a Jewish Chaplain, Dr Harrie Cedar, and two Muslim Chaplains, Imam Abdul Mumin Choudhury and Romana Kazmi, who work across all campuses alongside the Chaplain/s on each campus.
Where to find us
The Chaplaincy Room is located at K2.34 (along the corridor from the Chapel towards the Strand building) and this room is open for people to drop in for tea and coffee and a chat at any time during normal College hours. The Chaplains meet people confidentially in rooms here and groups may also book the room for meetings (please email the Chaplaincy for details).
All staff and students, regardless of faith background, are welcome to drop into the Chaplaincy.
During term time, Tim is normally around all week during term time. All other Chaplains listed below are available either one day a week, or by appointment.
