Jewish Prayer:

Please contact Dr Harrie Cedar, our Jewish Chaplain, for more information about, and links to, the following:

  • Shacharit (morning prayers) every weekday morning, 8.30am (7.30am on Rosh Chodesh - New Moon/Month).  There is also an option at 7.30am, if preferred.

  • Ma'ariv services (evening), 8pm, and/or Mincha (afternoon) Ma'ariv services, 6pm.

  • Kabbalat Shabbat (welcoming Shabbat) service, Fridays at 6pm; Havdalah Services (Ending Shabbat) on Saturday night (varying with daylight/sunset times)

These are all are in Hebrew, but Dr Cedar can find links to English services, if preferred.  Harrie can also source online Siddurs (prayerbooks) in Hebrew/English and transliteration, if needed.

 

Christian Services:

Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, London - Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church’s vision is ‘Provoking Faith in the heart of London’. At a time when we are physically distanced from each other, our online gathering will create a context for nurturing faith, building community, deepening relationships, creating sanctuary, and confronting injustice.

St James’ Anglican Church, Piccadilly, London - St James’ Piccadilly are streaming their weekly Eucharists (Sundays at 11am) as well as a whole range of services through their YouTube channel, including a short time of prayer daily at 12noon (link via website in title above). They are now also meeting in person too - more info is available on their website.
