Students being taught

A key component of the College’s quality assurance framework is the way in which programmes and modules are designed, approved and reviewed. These pages provide information about the College’s approval, modification, review and monitoring processes, arrangements for programmes and modules delivered with collaborating partners, as well as the College’s Credit framework which governs (all but a very limited number of), taught programmes.

Information about individual Programme specifications is held with the Academic Regulations, Quality and Standards team. Each programme specification provides accurate information about the programme which is required for approval, review and monitoring. Programme specifications form the basis for the prospectus and other information provided to prospective and current students. It is important to note, however, that programme specifications relate to the current year and there may be times when the prospectus for the next year will differ from the current programme specification.
