Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)
What is the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)?
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is run in partnership between the university and Advance HE. The survey is additional to those that you might complete in your department and will provide valuable information at a university level on what our taught postgraduate students think of their experience at King’s.
The survey is an online questionnaire and consists of a number of multiple-choice questions. All data collected in the survey is held anonymously and securely. The survey results are not tracked back to identify anyone in any way, and all survey results will be presented in an aggregated and anonymised form.
The university fully supports the PTES, and students are strongly encouraged to complete it so that we can enhance the experience of being a King’s postgraduate student. This is an important opportunity for eligible students to reflect on their time at King’s and to let the university, and the academic staff who have taught them, know what their experience throughout their time at King’s has been like.
When is the PTES?
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2020 will run between Monday 9 March and Monday 15 June 2020.
How can students enter the PTES?
Final year postgraduate students will receive an email with a unique link to the questionnaire on Monday 9 March. Simply click on the link and complete the online form. The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Please contact email@example.com if your link or username does not work, or the site inaccurately records you as having already completed the survey.
If you have any queries about the survey you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Why should students complete the PTES?
Sharing your experiences will help us improve learning and teaching for King’s postgraduate taught students.
The university values the feedback you give and will be donating £1 for each completed survey response to the youth homelessness charity Centrepoint. You can read more about Centrepoint here.
