Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)
What is the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)?
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is run in partnership between the university and Advance HE. The survey is additional to those that you might complete in your department and provides information at a university level on the experience of taught postgraduate students.
The survey is an online questionnaire and consists of a number of multiple-choice questions. All data collected in the survey is held anonymously and securely. The survey results are not tracked back to identify anyone in any way, and all survey results will be presented in an aggregated and anonymised form.
Reluctantly, we have taken the decision to cancel the survey this year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We nevertheless thank you for having taken the time to respond and please be assured that we continue to take your feedback seriously. By sharing your experiences, you help us to improve learning and teaching for King’s postgraduate taught students.
We pledged to donate £1 for every completed survey response received, and – despite the cancellation of this year’s survey – we will be making a donation to the youth homelessness charity, Centrepoint. You can read more about King’s approach to PTES here.
