Sustainability Internship

The Sustainability Team offers an annual internship for current and former King's College London students. The Sustainability Projects Assistant works closely with the Head of Sustainability, the Operations Sustainability Manager and colleagues across Estates & Facilities to deliver the university's sustainability objectives.

Environmental and Ethics Career Conference Resources (March 2015)

In March 2015 the first environmental and ethics career conference (EECC) was held. This annual event is an opportunity for students and graduates to explore potential careers that embed sustainability. Speakers throughout the day include those from the finance, law, government and consultancy sector. Below are links to recordings of the 2015 talks: 

  • Introductory talk: Martin Baxter from IEMA and Nicholas Schoon from Bioregional
  • Law talk: Jonathan Church for Client Earth Karine Dalleau from Vente-Privee and Paul Leonard from UKELA. 
  • Finance and consulting talk: John Ditchfield from Barchester Green Investment, Phil Case from PWC and Lydia Langford from Acre. 
  • NGOs and Government: Donna Hume from Friends of the Earth, Charlie Thompson from the Environment Agency and Kim Croasdale from NUS. 
  • Kick-starting your career: Fiona Richardson from KCL Careers and Samatha Connolly from KLH Sustainability.
