Event outline

For 15 years Careers in China has been an effective way to meet high calibre students and graduates from some of the best universities in the world. The Careers in China events programme is a partnership between London School of Economics and Political Science and Imperial College London with participation from other leading universities. This year we are proud to announce we will be joined by University of Cambridge, King's College London and University College London.

2022 events

Careers in China 2022 will take place between Monday 21 March – Friday 1 April 2022. The programme comprises sector round tables and panels which will all take place online via Zoom.

  • Sector round tables: By participating in this flagship event your organisation will have access to our sector round tables.
    • Our interactive sector round tables enable employers to have open and meaningful conversations with our motivated and engaged students and recent graduates. The interactive format of the round tables help students to deepen their understanding of your organisation and available opportunities.
    • All employers will have the opportunity to meet with a broad mix of students and graduates online. Students will be divided into small groups and you will meet with each group in 20 minute rotations. You’ll have time for brief introductions to the team, your company and the roles you hire into, then it’s over to the students for questions.
  • Website profile and CV access: Your company profile will feature on our exclusive Careers in China website visible to students across the participating universities. You will be able to promote your vacancies, provide social media links, showcase pre-recorded presentations and invite students to share their CVs.

Students attending

The Careers in China (Mainland and Hong Kong SAR) programme provide employers with the opportunity to meet top calibre students and graduates from prestigious UK universities. The students in attendance will be from a variety of subject disciplines and will represent a mixture of undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates. This means that whatever your hiring needs, you’ll meet relevant students.
