Strand Campus, London

Brighten someone’s day by joining King’s Volunteering and Art Explora for a creative card-making workshop for elderly care home residents.

About this event

Come along to a King’s Volunteering workshop to make cards for elderly people living in care homes across London with our charity partner, Art Explora.

This will be a relaxed, crafty session designed to bring a little joy to someone’s day. No prior experience is required and materials will be provided — but feel free to bring your own supplies if you’d like to.

The event is a drop-in so you don't need to attend for the full 2 hours, however, we recommend staying for at least 1 hour to have enough time to complete your card.

What to expect

You’ll take part in a hands-on workshop in partnership with Art Explora, a local charity on a mission to build connections through arts and culture. From taking art into care homes across London to delivering creative workshops in children’s activity centres, Art Explora works with a network of volunteers who understand the power of building connections through art.
