This webinar is part of a series by the Indo-Pacific research group at King's.

This episode will explore the evolution of India’s foreign policy in the Indo-Pacific, in terms of security, connectivity, economy and international law. Professor Harsh V Pant will present India’s diplomatic trends in the region, with particular focus on India’s coalition-building strategic approach to challenges, and its vision for the future of the current mini-lateral agreements.

The webinar will also explore and assess the level of Chinese assertiveness and threat posed to India in the Indian Ocean Region, and in South Asia, and India’s comprehensive counter-strategies. Finally, Professor Pant will address the growing US-India strategic partnership, and its potential long-term implications for the wider Indo-Pacific context.
