How can King's take a leadership role in addressing the climate crisis?

Join our King's Climate Action Network (CAN) re-launch event to find out what the CAN is, what we have worked on over the last year, how it will run in 2021/22, and how you can get involved.

Last year, over 200 members from across King's were involved and contributed to a list of more than 50 actions to be taken forward by the university. These actions pave the way to reaching our ambitious target to be Net Zero Carbon by 2025. We have been collating and consulting on these actions, which we aim to publish before COP26.

Throughout the next year, the CAN will continue to scope new opportunities through its seven sub-groups (from students & education and zero carbon estate to responsible investment and travel), as well as move to implementing these actions.

The network is open to anyone at King's - students, staff, alumni - as well as our key external partners. No prior knowledge required, simply tune in and share your thoughts and ideas!
