Analytical Bites is a new initiative designed to bring together King’s analytical community through themed lunchtime sessions. Each series explores cutting-edge topics and technologies in analytical science, with expert speakers from academia, core facilities and industry.
Sessions include seminars, interactive discussions, workshops and networking opportunities - plus complimentary lunch. It’s a chance to share knowledge, break down scientific silos and spark new collaborations across disciplines.
Our themed series will focus on:
- Advanced Technologies – providing the latest overview of new tech & applications, complimented with workshops & demos within our core facilities.
- Analytical Connections – exploring broader scientific topics that require integration of diverse analytical techniques and approaches through seminars, interactive discussions and networking events.
- Workshops 101 – giving bite sized insights into a wide range of topics from experimental design and sample preparation to method development and data analysis.
When do they take place? Analytical Bites are held monthly on Thursdays, from 12:00–13:30pm and based on different campuses to accommodate our widespread analytical community.
Who can attend? The Analytical Bites are free and open to anyone at King’s who is interested in analytics. Registration is required, and lunch and soft drinks will be provided. Details of the events can be found in the individual event listings below.
