World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health.

In support of World Mental Health Day on Tuesday 10 October 2023, King’s services are hosting a day of activities and workshops at the Sport & Wellness Centre.

Staff from Sport & Wellness, Student Wellbeing, Counselling and Mental Health and Chaplaincy will be on hand throughout the day hosting a several activities and workshops. 

These events are completely free to attend are open to both King's staff & Students.

World Mental Health Day Schedule

  • 10:00-11:00 Meet & Greet - No booking needed.

  • 11:00-11:30 What’s on at the Waterloo Wellness Centre - No booking needed. 

  • 11:30-12:00 King’s Wellness Scheme - No booking needed. 

  • 12:00-12:30 Chaplaincy - No booking needed. 

  • 12:30-13:00 Counselling & Mental Health - No booking needed. 

  • 14:00-15:00 Wellbeing Workshop - book below. 

  • 15:30-16:30 Afternoon Craftercise - book below.

  • 17:30-18:45 Yoga & Mindfulness Class - book below.

On-going sessions taking place at the centre:

  • 10:00-14:00. 1-1 Health Assessments. Dietetics students - Book here.

  • 14:00-19:00. 1-1 Physio Consultations. Physiotherapy students - Book here.

Sessions are bookable three days in advance.
