We are delighted to invite you to a talk by Dr Nira Chamberlain on "The Black Heroes of Mathematics". Dr Chamberlain is the President of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. He has applied his mathematical knowledge to a variety of problems and industrial sectors, such as the aerospace and energy sectors, throughout the world.

All King's staff and students with an interest in mathematics are welcome to attend. The talk will take part on Microsoft Teams, please join the meeting via the following link at the time of the event. The event is organised for Black Mathematician Month by the Department of Mathematics Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Departmental Committee and the chairs of the committee, Dr Kalliopi Mylona & Dr Dionysios Anninos
