Peruvian Narrative about the Internal Armed Conflict

Dr. Brenda Morales Muñoz, holds a PhD, an MPhil and an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies from UNAM. She specialises in the study of contemporary Latin American narrative, particularly written by women, as well as Peruvian literature, and the fictionalisation of different types of violence and maternity. She is a founding member of the Seminar on Contemporary Latin American Narrative studies (SENALC) and is a member of the Seminar on Human and Imaginary Dimentions of Urban Space, both at UNAM. She has numerous publications and over 10 years teaching experience on Latin American literature. She is currently a full-time professor at the Latin American Studies Department in UNAM and belongs to SNI, the official national research system in Mexico.
