This panel discussion, hosted by the LITAID research team, the Global Cultures Institute and Department of English, will reflect on the richness, complexities and challenges of archival research in West Africa. It is also an opportunity to consider institutional and disciplinary differences in perspective and approach to archival research.

We welcome anyone who works in and on West Africa, and anyone who is otherwise interested in the working of archives.
