To unite our ambitions and drive global progress, we have identified five Impact Priorities that focus our expertise and efforts.

Through a strong culture of civic engagement, we work hand-in-hand with communities in London and across the world to address challenges, support inclusion, amplify underrepresented voices, and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This commitment is delivered through flagship initiatives such as King’s Volunteering and the King’s Sanctuary Programme, as well as through our strategic partnerships with a wide range of local and international organisations and academic institutions. These initiatives not only connect students and staff with opportunities to make a difference, but also provide the skills and networks to become compassionate leaders, active citizens and global changemakers during their time at King’s and beyond.

Our Social Mobility & Widening Participation department helps to remove barriers to success throughout a student’s educational journey, creating a world in which a young person’s destination is not limited by their start in life.

We are rapidly scaling our response to the climate emergency. We're doing this through transformative multidisciplinary research and by embedding sustainability into our teaching, partnerships, impact and operations. The climate crisis calls for a fundamental shift in our societies and economies. It will mean new paradigms for decision-making, leadership, education, research and innovation. We are harnessing our connections and expertise to influence climate action and enable just and fair transitions to net zero.
