Homelessness research: co-production and involvement

Unit researchers met with Inclusion Health Programme Managers from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities

NIHR motif

Unit Homelessness Research Programme members Professor Michelle Cornes, peer researcher Jo Coombes, Janet Robinson and Jess Harris today shared co-production and involvement insights with Inclusion Health Programme Managers from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, in order to support the development of a Department of Health and Social Care resource on Co-production. Four ‘lived experience’ contributors to the Unit’s Out of Hospital Care Models and Safeguarding, Homelessness and Self-neglect studies brought their insights and experiences to the conversation, which also included community workers from Side by Side who work with marginalized and excluded individuals, and who hosted the meeting.
