The Centre for Doctoral Studies is delighted to announce the winners of the Supervisory Excellence Awards 2018/19.

Each year the Centre for Doctoral Studies awards Supervisory Excellence Awards designed to recognise and reward postgraduate supervisors for the outstanding supervision and support that they offer to research students at King’s College London.

Professor Jenny Gallagher, Dean for International Affairs and Newland-Pedley Professor of Oral Health Strategy. Honorary Consultant in Dental Public Health is the recipient of the Award for the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences.

The key criteria in selecting winners are supervisory innovation, commitment to pastoral care, support for professional development, as well as a proven record in supervising students to completion. In all cases, the supervisors that are acknowledged by this award go the extra mile for their supervisees.

Congratulations Professor Gallagher.
