Biography

Abbie Stone is the Communications Manager for the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care and leads on communications for the Better Health & Care Hub.

Abbie joined King’s in 2024, following 4-years leading the communications and knowledge exchange activities for the UKRI funded Future of UK Treescapes Programme. Abbie has a wealth of experience in science communications, having previously worked with the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, the National Physical Laboratory, Imperial College London, the Grantham Institute and the University of Gloucestershire. She is skilled with strategic communications, policy engagement, PR, digital media and collaborative outreach.

She has a BSc in Physics from the University of Surrey and an MA in Acting from East 15. She brings creativity and technical understanding to the forefront of her communications work.
