Biography

Arooj has worked on public health implementation research projects for more than six years in South Asia. She has worked on projects for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH), Immunization, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Nutrition and Digital health. Arooj is passionate about improving data-informed decision-making in healthcare planning and to improve health management information systems in LMICs. Before joining KGHP as MEL Adviser, Arooj was working as a Senior Research Manager for PHC Global, a private research organization in Pakistan and has also previously worked with Aga Khan University in Pakistan. Arooj is a King's alumnus, and completed her Masters in Public Health from King’s College London in 2015.
