Biography
Billy is interim Senior Comms Officer for King’s Climate & Sustainability (KCS), a cross-university drive to rapidly scale our response to the climate emergency through our research, education, operations and action. His role is to develop and oversee the communications strategy for KCS, manage the communications channels, develop a new visual identity for KCS, amplify sustainability stories from across King’s and support the delivery of internal and external events.
Billy joined KCS after a stint in the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, working as Marketing & Communications Officer for the CDT in Smart Medical Imaging. Before his foray into higher education, Billy enjoyed a variety of positions in PR, marketing, events and social media across a range of industries, including entertainment, attractions and hospitality.
