Biography
Bryan is a Research Assistant in the Breast Immunology Group at the Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
He currently works as part of Team SAMBAI (Social, Ancestry, Molecular and Biological Analysis of Inequalities), funded by the Cancer Grand Challenges. Team SAMBAI is aimed at addressing the cancer inequities challenge. His role bridges both wet lab and dry lab where he focuses on flow cytometry and spatial immunophenotyping, as well as implementing bioinformatics for subsequent data analyses. In 2026, Bryan began his PhD within the Breast Immunology Group, building directly on this work.
Prior to joining the Breast Immunology Group, he graduated from Imperial College London with BSc Medical Biosciences in 2023, where his work focused on volatile signature detection in oesophago-gastric cancers. In 2024, Bryan obtained an MRes Translational Cancer Medicine from King’s College London. He worked on multiplexed spatial immunophenotyping in early breast cancer at the Breast Immunology Group and explored the drug repurposing potential of existing drugs for prostate cancer at the Transforming Cancer OUtcomes through Research (TOUR) group.
