Biography
Cheng-Pei joined the Cicely Saunders Institute in October 2016. Since graduating, he has been interested in of end-of-life and palliative care promotion and research in Taiwan.
Cheng-Pei was previously a registered nurse working on an oncology ward in a medical center in southern Taiwan and has a year's military service experience in a veteran general hospital. He was also a junior lecturer in the nursing department in Yuanpei University of Medical Technology in Taiwan, teaching oncology nursing and hospice / palliative care.
When studying for his masters, Cheng-Pei gained experience as a teaching assistant in adult nursing, cardiovascular nursing and data management and analysis in healthcare.
Cheng-Pei has a BSc in Nursing from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan (2011) and a MSc in Nursing from National Cheng Kung University (2014).
Cheng-Pei's research interests include advance care planning, medical decision-making, qualitative research methodology in palliative care, and end-of-life attitude and behaviour surveys.
