
Biography
Darcio Pimenta started his PhD at the King's Brazil Institute in October 2017. He holds an MSc Brazil in Global Perspective from King’s College London, MBA from FGV (Fundacao Getulio Vargas), Extension Degree in Management Consultant for SME’s from COGEAE/PUC-SP and BA (First Class Honours) in Business Management from Universidade 9 de Julho.

Darcio's research investigates the process of internationalisation of Brazilian small companies (SME’s). The study analyses the phenomenon of business incubators in the State of Sao Paulo and its incubated companies to understand the process of internationalisation. In addition, his research examines the behaviour of Brazilian entrepreneur to access the foreign market and how the Government promoting and empowering small companies in Brazil
