Biography
Don Navod Wickramasinghe completed a BSc in Biomedical Sciences in 2018, followed by an MSc in Immunology in 2019 and a PhD in 2025, all at King's College London. His MSc project took place in the Naglik Lab, where he researched the effects of ATP and matrix metalloproteinases on the host response to candidalysin toxin. Don's PhD project studied the characterisation of candidalysin variants and investigated epithelial responses to candidalysin using genome-wide CRISPR-Cas9 screens.
Don currently continues his long association with King's College London, and the Naglik Lab in particular, as a postdoctoral research associate.
