Research, Scholarly projects and Academic Awards
Giulia is engaged in several scholarly projects focused on inclusive and innovative teaching practices. Her current research explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence in education, particularly its potential to enhance personalised learning and adaptive teaching methodologies. She also investigates strategies to support neurodiverse students through inclusive and creative pedagogical approaches. Her work on visual pedagogies examines how visual aids can be designed and implemented to create more engaging and effective classroom experiences. She maintains a strong interest in the relevance of Classical Studies in modern education, analysing the role of Latin and Greek in contemporary curricula and their contribution to critical thinking and cultural literacy. Giulia has been nominated for the King’s Education Award in both 2023 and 2025, and in 2025 also received an internal nomination from the School of Politics and Economics (SPE) at King’s College London, recognising her dedication to impactful and inclusive teaching.
