Biography
Isabella started her role as a Research Assistant in Timothy Tree’s group following her MSc work conducting T cell phenotyping on postmortem samples from tuberculosis patients at the MRC/UVRI and LSHTM Uganda Research Unit. She now works on a collaborative project with a bioelectronics company studying the effects of precision neuromodulation on T cells, in a porcine model. This research aims to develop novel tools based on neuro-immune interactions to improve immune function.
