
Biography
Jessica John is a Research Assistant in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. She joined King’s College London in September 2024 to complete an MSc in Psychiatric Research. Her Masters project utilised a randomised controlled trial design to investigate a novel cognitive bias modification procedure for depression (CURED).
Jessica holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Psychiatric Research from King’s College London.
She worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology at the University of Exeter and in the Social and Applied Psychology research group at the University of Sussex.
Her work focused on trialling digital mental health support systems, impacting policy for supporting first year university students' transition.
