Biography

Kate King is a MD(Res) Student in Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.

Kate joined the King’s Centre for Military Health Research in February 2021 as a research student investigating alcohol behaviour change in Serving military personnel. Her main project is a trial of the DrinksRation smartphone app in the military population.

As a current Royal Navy GP, she has been extensively involved in GP education and development for a number of years, and is the head of the Defence Medical Services’ Academic Department of Military General Practice. She has a masters in Public Health.
