Biography

Lisa has a PhD in molecular biology and worked as a PDRA in cell and molecular biology for several years at Queen Mary university of London, before moving into technology transfer.  Lisa worked in research partnerships and technology transfer at University of Kent and Queen Mary University, supporting translation of research and academic partnerships with industry.  Prior to joining King's Lisa worked at the Alan Turing institute as Programme Manager for AI programme.

Within C-FIT, Lisa is the digital health lead, supporting development of digital health technology and data-driven projects. Lisa also works as a Translational Research Manager as part of the Translational Research Office at KCL, providing bespoke advice and support for researchers embarking on translational projects. The TRO delivers a series of Translational Research workshops and advice sessions to raise awareness and understanding of the translational research development journey.  The team also run the commercial development fund, which provides seed funding for high risk, high potential translational projects.
