The session will highlight how KIC helps researchers translate innovative ideas into real‑world impact, covering areas such as commercialisation, collaborative partnerships, innovation funding, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Book a focused 10‑minute one‑to‑one conversation with a member of the KIC team (please email lisa.harper@kcl.ac.uk or innovation@kcl.ac.uk to request a 1:1 slot) for practical, tailored advice on a specific project or idea - helping to explore potential developmental pathways, identify next steps, and understand what support might be available.

Aligned with the festival’s celebratory and inclusive spirit, this drop‑in aims to normalise innovation as something everyone at King’s can engage with. It encourages creativity, builds an entrepreneurial mindset, and lowers barriers to accessing support by offering quick, practical advice in a friendly environment. Ultimately, the session empowers researchers at any stage to take confident next steps and raises awareness of the innovation ecosystem available across King’s.

By the end of this session, participants will:

  1. Learn about the innovation and entrepreneurial support available at King's Innovation Catalyst team
  2. Be able to discuss their innovative idea or project with the Innovation team
  3. Receive advice on how to develop their innovation and what their next steps should be

Please email: lisa.harper@kcl.ac.uk or innovation@kcl.ac.uk for further information or to book a 1:1 slot.
