Biography
Lynne is a registered adult and children’s nurse and a lecturer in nursing education in the Department of Child & Family Health. She is a Cohort Lead for the Nursing with Registration as a Children's Nurse programme and Senior Tutor in the Faculty. Lynne teaches on several of the children’s nursing modules.
Lynne has specialised in neonatal nursing and in addition to teaching this area of practice to both undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration children’s nursing and midwifery students, runs the modules leading to a qualification in a speciality for post qualification nurses.
Lynne is a member of the Council of International Neonatal Nurses (COINN) research and education committees as well as the Neonatal Nurses’ Association LEARN group (Leading education and research).
Lynne maintains her clinical skills by undertaking bank shifts on a local neonatal unit.
