Mr Masood Ahmad
Biography
Masood Ahmad is currently undertaking his PhD under the supervision of Dr Matteo Tanzi in the Disordered Systems Group, Department of Mathematics, King’s College London. His research focuses on the ergodic theory of complex systems.
Masood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Peshawar. He later joined International Mathematics Master (IMM), a programme run by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in collaboration with its host university in Pakistan. As part of this programme, he completed one year of advanced coursework at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, and then earned his master’s degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). His master’s thesis explored the existence of invariant and ergodic measures using inducing schemes.
Masood worked as a programme representative at IMM and currently volunteers as regional director with the Maths Volunteer Foundation.
