Biography
I graduated from Yaroslavl State Technical University with a major in Organic Chemistry. In 2014, I acquired my Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the same university. My Ph.D. project centered around the synthesis of novel monomers for thermostable and optically active polymers. Between 2011 and 2017, I worked for a leading Russian pharmaceutical company - R-Pharm - and was responsible for biopharmaceuticals' quality assurance and quality control. In 2017, I returned to academia and spent five years at Nagoya University as a research fellow studying how mechanical tension at the adherens junction regulates cellular processes in skin cancer cells. Starting in September 2022, I joined King’s College London (Parsons Lab) as Research Associate. Here, I study the regulation of cell-cell adhesions in epithelial cells.
