Biography

Philipp will start his PhD in Applied Public Policy in October 2025. His research focuses on the concept of agency within the fields of Behavioural Public Policy and Economics, with applications in areas such as public health and sustainable consumer behaviour. His doctoral work aims to formerly conceptualise the concept agency in behavioural public policy, embed it within economic models, and test its implications through field experiments.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Business Economics at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and Tsinghua University, he spent a year working in Management Consulting before starting his Masters in Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Philipp has got work experience in the German Government, the European Parliament, Management Consulting and Investment Banking.
