
Mr Sina Bastani
Biography
Sina is a postgraduate researcher in the Department of Mathematics, King’s College London. He did his undergrad in Exeter University and City St George’s University, where he graduated with a first in Mathematics. He later did his postgraduate in Complex Systems modelling at KCL, his Master’s focused on Disordered Systems and Statistics. He is now doing a PhD in Applied Mathematics using AI and optimisitaion techniques to create robust and explainable algorithms in supply chain scenarios. His PhD is supervised by Dr. Alexander Bastounis. His thesis is partly funded by global pharmaceutical and retail company Haleon.
