Biography

Stephanie Daher is Lecturer in Business Ethics and a member of the Centre for Sustainable Business at King’s Business School. Her research lies at the intersection of organisational studies, sustainability, and business ethics, with a particular focus on non-Western perspectives and contexts.

She mobilises anthropological theories to bridge critical organisational inquiry with contexts in which alterity—diverse modes of being, knowing, and living—encounters modern forms of business and organisational practice. Stephanie works closely with Indigenous communities in Latin America, examining the promises and pitfalls of energy transitions and carbon offset initiatives in the Amazon region. Her work investigates the ethical, social, and political consequences of sustainability initiatives for civil society and local communities.

Her research has been published in leading journals such as Business & Society and Organization. Stephanie also serves as an editor of the Media and Artifacts Review section of Organization.

Dr Daher is not currently accepting new PhD students.
