Biography
Thomas Parkin is a Research Administrator at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London. Thomas works within the Department of Forensic & Neurodevelopmental Sciences, providing administrative support to Professor Andre Strydom and Dr Rory Sheehan across their research portfolios.
He has contributed to a range of projects, including LeDeR (Learning from Lives and Deaths – people with a learning disability and autistic people), OptiCaT (Optimising community C(E)TRs through understanding the experiences of people with a learning disability and autistic people and investigating their impact on care), Enhanced (focusing on the identification, recording, and implementation of reasonable adjustments within NHS electronic clinical record systems), and the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinical Trials Centre (NDD-CTC).
In addition to project support, Thomas provides financial and research grant administration for Professor Strydom and Dr Sheehan, with a focus on compliance, governance, and audit readiness.
