Biography
Victoria Ogunseitan is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a background in Sports MSK, Trauma & Orthopaedics. Victoria’s academic journey began with a BSc (Hons) in Anatomical Sciences at The University of Manchester followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy (pre-reg) at King’s College London.
Victoria worked in the NHS across a range of clinical areas but chose to specialise first in Adult MSK and then in Trauma & Orthopaedics as a Highly Specialist/Team Lead Physiotherapist within two London NHS trusts. Alongside her NHS career, Victoria has worked within sports with a keen interest in contact sports and martial arts. She was the Lead Physiotherapist for King’s Sport as they became a TASS Hub site delivering physiotherapy support to King’s Sports Performance Scholars and elite TASS athletes. In 2021, Victoria began working with GB Taekwondo providing physiotherapy support for the GB Development Squad. This opportunity saw Victoria travel to France, Bulgaria and South Korea to support the squad at international competitions and training camps. In 2022, she had the opportunity to provide physiotherapy support & pitch-side trauma care at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Victoria is currently part of the medical team for GB American Football as a Physiotherapist.
Alongside her role as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy, Victoria works with King’s Sport in a clinical capacity delivering physiotherapy care to athletes, students and staff whilst supporting physiotherapy students on clinical placement. She is also responsible for expanding the physiotherapy clinical placement provision and developing the physiotherapy services within King's Sport & Wellness.
