Assessment for Taught Programmes

In this section, you can find out more on the assessment rules and practices at King’s. These regulations and policies apply to taught programmes or taught components of research awards at King’s and should be read in conjunction with programme and module specifications. There are rules governing assessment; the responsibilities of examiners; marking; mitigating circumstances; and the penalties that are applied for the late submission of coursework.

Assessment Boards and Sub-Boards are responsible for ensuring that examination and assessment procedures are carried out in accordance with academic regulations and academic policies in a fair and impartial manner. 

This chapter includes regulations on:
