Safeguarding Policy
Document profile
King’s College London has a responsibility to safeguard the welfare of both children and adults at risk. This policy sets out the University’s duty to safeguard any child or adult at risk who either applies and is admitted as a student to King’s College London, or who comes into contact with King's as a result of University activities.
A whole University approach is taken to our policy and practice, embedding a culture of Safeguarding in everything we do and ensuring the welfare of children, adults at risk, and all students is paramount.
For further information on spotting the signs and symptoms of abuse, guidance on good practice, and additional resources, please visit King's Safeguarding web pages.
Please note that the Safeguarding Policy is currently undergoing annual review as per British Council guidelines and may still refer to previous Procedure numbers. This will be rectified in the updated policy. Please check titles of Procedures under the Safeguarding Policy to confirm any previous numbering.
