700 MHz NMR Spectrometer
A flexible high field system for structural biology, small molecule research and automated workflows
We support NMR‑based investigations of biomolecular structure, dynamics and interactions, including proteins, RNA, DNA and protein–nucleic acid complexes. The Facility houses dedicated high‑field 700 MHz and 800 MHz spectrometers optimised for structural biology and equipped with helium‑cooled cryoprobes for maximum sensitivity. Users have access to a comprehensive suite of modern NMR experiments for resonance assignment, structure determination and relaxation‑based dynamics studies. Our 700 MHz system includes a four‑channel QCI‑P cryoprobe with a P-31 channel, enabling detailed studies of nucleic acids and their interactions alongside proteins.
