In addition to the commercial systems, the MIC also engages in the development of new and bespoke microscopes. These can be either completely novel concepts or translation of tested but non-commercially available technologies to offer it to a wider user base. We are currently working on an Oblique Plane Microscope system for fast volumetric imaging.
