Symptom attribution and behaviours related to emergencies (SABRE)
Interviewing parents and guardians to understand their thoughts and experiences
We're running a study exploring how parents and legal guardians understand and respond to their children when they are unwell, and how public health messages can help aid this process. This work will inform future public health messaging to help other parents and their children.
We’re looking to speak with parents and legal guardians who:
- have at least one child aged 0 to 11 years old,
- are based in England, and
- are aged 18+
Participants will take part in a one-to-one online interview (60 minutes) on Microsoft Teams or in person (your choice).
Interview questions may cover topics such as
- family structure
- children’s health
- respiratory symptom knowledge
- health behaviour
- health communication
- understanding of public health messages
There are no right or wrong answers; we are just interested in hearing your views.
All participants will receive a £30 VEX voucher to compensate them for their time.
