History & Political Economy

Students on the History & Political Economy degree programme have the opportunity to study abroad for the second semester of the second year at one of many destinations below. For students who select this option, the requirement to take certain compulsory modules in History during semester 2 will be waived, although they will still need to take 30 credits of History modules. To fulfil subject-specific requirements in Political Economy, students will need to take equivalent modules to those they would take at King’s. It is compulsory for History & Political Economy students to complete the following modules in their second year, but these are usually taught in Semester 1 at King's so should not need to be taken at the host: - Political Economy: Approaches, Concepts and Issues (BA and BSc) - Statistics for Political Science (BSc only)
