Artificial Intelligence Careers

What jobs can AI graduates do?

There is a widening demand and supply gap for AI skills - and completing a degree in Artificial Intelligence opens the door to a wide and growing range of job opportunities. Graduates can be found across roles in banking, fintech, consultancy, major software houses, and in tech, with many of our students founding their own start-ups.

Our graduates regularly pursue roles as software engineers, AI engineers, algorithm engineers, consultants, and developers, for companies including Amazon Web Services, Deloitte, KPMG, ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China), and Xiaomi.

The Careers Service and the Department of Informatics run a careers programme for Informatics students, which includes resources such as a skills framework, and tailored panel events with alumni and employers, alongside the extensive central careers provision.
