Geography at King's unites science, society and the environment, allowing students to address key issues facing the world today. These include climate change, development, risk and disasters, sustainability, and resource and territorial disputes.

Our suite of master's courses is one of the largest in the UK, allowing you to specialise in areas of particular interest and to benefit from our multidisciplinary expertise. You will also study with award-winning and world leading experts.

Our students are at the heart of our teaching effort, which is international in its outlook, interdisciplinary in its scope, and engaged in its spirit. All our teaching staff are actively involved in research and our various master's programmes are closely tied into the work of our research groups. This ensures that our taught modules are informed by the very latest work in the field.

Sustainable Cities MSc

Our Sustainable Cities MSc is an interdisciplinary programme providing a critical understanding of how cities are shaped by human and physical processes. It builds a deep understanding of the connections between sustainable urban and environmental futures. Our teaching focus extends beyond the technical infrastructure of sustainable urban development to consider the importance of the social infrastructures that help ensure urban resilience in the face of climate change and global environmental shifts.
