Whether you’re a parent, carer, or planning to start a family, this page provides information on how King’s supports you throughout your journey. You’ll find details about our generous parental leave and pay, shared parental leave, support for returning to work, options for maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and childcare services.
We offer up to six weeks paid leave, for eligible staff, with no requirement to qualify for statutory payment.
Our Childcare Subsidy Scheme offers a 20% subsidy for children not yet receiving government funding (currently under three years of age) who receive childcare from an Ofsted registered provider.
Staff can apply for places in the nurseries run by our NHS partners at St Thomas’ Hospital. We have also identified a nursery provider close to our Waterloo Campus for your consideration.
