British Council Creative Economy Scholarship

The Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries (CMCI) at King’s is delighted to announce the British Council Creative Economy Scholarship. The scholarship is intended to support one exceptional full-time student from India wishing to pursue the MA in Arts and Cultural Management (ACM) at CMCI, King’s. The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition fees for the one-year duration of the ACM MA programme.

The scholarship is available to students commencing their studies in September 2021, and applicants to the programme will be considered for this award when submitting their ACM MA application along with a case for support. NB the closing date for applications for the Scholarship is 30 June 2021 – by which time applicants must have secured a conditional offer for a place on the MA.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Indian scholars only
  • Applying for the ACM MA with the Department of Culture Media and Creative Industries 
  • Full-time study only (2021-2022) 
  • Demonstrable need for financial support
  • Proven interest and passion for subject and course of study

The studentship is awarded on the basis of scholarly merit and demonstrable need for financial support.

Application procedure

To be considered, applicants MUST

  1. Apply to King’s College London, using the online admissions application portal, for the Arts and Cultural Management MA.  
  2. Complete a Creative Economy Scholarship Case for Support Form (download the form here) and submit this, alongside the online admissions application, to Dr Serena Iervolino at serena.iervolino@kcl.ac.uk
  3. Have a conditional offer to the MA programme by 23.59 on Wednesday 30th June, 2021. NB applications for the programme can take up to 14 days to process – so we strongly advise you submit your application for the programme by Tuesday 15th June at the latest.
  4. Applicants nominated for the Scholarship will be interviewed by the British Council in early July.
