Professional Education

Don't pause your career, power it up! With King's Arts & Humanities.

A university rooted in Arts & Humanities expertise

Arts & Humanities has been the foundation of King's for nearly 200 years, leading the way for ethical, cultural and technical development.

Our Departments and Research Institutes are grounded in this history of innovation, shaping the UK's £125bn creative and cultural industries.

Research that reaches people

In the past 18 months, our academics have discovered Shakespeare's London Flat and an original Magna Carta, developed technologies mapping deforestation, provided expert guidance on responsible AI, and produced policy guidance for the House of Lords.

Building on 200 years of expertise, 95% of our research is rated world-leading or internationally excellent (REF, 2021).

Located in the heart of London's creative powerhouse, we work with the world's biggest and brightest media organisations, tech companies and cultural institutions - from 180 Studios to Shakespeare's Globe, from the BBC to the V&A.

We connect the City and the West End, the tech industry, culture and politics.
